Dr. Garth Christenson
Dr. Christenson completed
his undergraduate studies at the University of Wisconsin at River Falls, prior to receiving his Doctor of Optometry degree,
cum laude, from the Illinois College of Optometry. He then completed a Residency in Children's Vision at the Southern California
College of Optometry and remained at the college for five years, teaching and performing research. In 1988, Dr. Christenson
earned his Master of Science in Education from California State University at Fullerton. He has earned awards and honors,
including the Strawn Leadership Award, Who's Who in American Colleges and Universities, Outstanding Young Men in America,
and Who's Who in California and Who's Who in Health Care. He is also very active in the community as a member of Hudson Rotary,
Community Action Group, and the Bridge Program.
Dr. Christenson is a member of the American Optometric
Association, Wisconsin Optometric Association, College of Optometrists in Vision Development and has specialty status as a
Binocular Vision Diplomate in the American Academy of Optometry. He has lectured on topics of vision care and published many
articles in professional journals. He is also co-author of a textbook on dyslexia. Because of Dr. Christenson's experience
in children's vision and learning, he serves as a consultant to the Minneapolis School District.
Dr. Christenson's
background and experiences allow him to emphasize patient education. As a result of this willingness to explain conditions
to his patients, he has become known as "the communicating doctor."

Dr. Micki Flynn
Dr.
Flynn obtained her Doctorate of Optometry from the New England College of Optometry in Boston, Massachusetts.
During her final year of optometry school, Dr. Flynn had clinical rotations which focused on ocular disease, pediatric
optometry and primary eye care. She was salutatorian of her optometry class and president of Beta Sigma Kappa Optometric Honor
Society. She also received several scholarships for clinical and academic excellence, including the Ira Schwartz Award for
outstanding achievement in pediatric optometry.
Dr. Flynn was chosen for the Pediatric and Binocular Vision Residency
Program at the New England College of Optometry and worked with pediatric ophthalmologists at Boston
Medical Center and New England Medical Center.
She provided care at Perkins School
for the Blind, Cotting School
for Special Needs Children, The New England Eye Institute, and local community health centers.
Dr. Flynn is currently
a member of the Wisconsin Optometric Association and the American
Academy of Optometry. She is an active provider for the InfantSEE
Program which promotes no cost eye exams for any child under the age of 12 months. Dr. Flynn is also a member of the
Hudson Lions Club.
Dr.
Flynn compliments Christenson Vision Care with a background of academic excellence and leadership as well as a track record
of compassion and caring for patients. Her education and experience with pediatric optometry, ocular disease, and primary
eye care make her a valuable and integral part of the Christenson Vision Care team.
