Office Manager/EyeZone Director
I have worked at CVC since 2013 starting as the patient coordinator. In 2014, I took the position of Office Manager and Vision Therapy Director.
Optometric Vision Therapist/Sports Vision Coach
You can find me in our EyeZone Performance Center which is located upstairs from the CVC office. My position at CVC/EyeZone is to help individuals with visually related learning disorders, post-concussion care, and sports vision enhancement.
Optometric Vision Therapist
I’ve been a vision therapist since 1998. I love working with our patients and bringing my education and creativity to the clinic. My education includes elementary education studies and x-ray technician training.
Marketing/Public Relations Specialist
I’ve worked at CVC since 2014 starting out as a Paraoptometric Technician. I went onto earn my certification as a para in 2015. You will still find me filling in at times as a technician when needed.
Certified Optician/VSP Specialist
As an optician at CVC, I help educate my patients on their eyewear options that fit their needs. I also work closely with the doctors to assure my patients are getting exactly what the doctor prescribed. You will also see me at the front desk greeting and checking in patients, answering phones, and gathering information to guarantee a seamless visit to the office.
After starting at CVC as a receptionist, I sort of “fell into” the optician position. I love helping our patients find the perfect frame to match their personalities.
As the most recent addition to the CVC family, starting in November 2019, I brought over 20 years of experience working in clinical settings specializing in inpatient care coordination, insurance processing, and patient accounting.
As an optician, I evaluate the doctor’s prescription to assist the patient in choosing the proper frames and lenses. For new contact lens wearers, I help with instruction for insertion, removal, and care for soft contact lenses and CRT (Corneal Refractive Therapy) lenses.
I have many duties within the office, including pretesting, special testing, contact lens technician, helping with front desk duties, and vision insurance billing.
I pretest the patients before they see the doctor. I conduct special testing to evaluate glaucoma and macular degeneration. You’ll also find me helping out with fitting glasses and at reception.
Patient Care Coordinator
As Patient Care Coordinator, I have the pleasure of being the first person to assist our patients. Whether it be on the phone or in person. I get to help with scheduling, check-ins, data entry, and more.
